Dad Alert: New fun for dad and kids. Tak and the Guardians of Gross
Oh yes my friends it seems that a new Tak game is headed for Nintendo Wii. Using all new “parkour” style of gameplay, players will be running on walls, sliding down poles, and swinging on vines to navigate action-packed levels. I love the Tak games (In-fact my girlfriend introduced them to me hah.) and i have always been a fan of rich 3d environments, so when i first heard this was for the Wii and ps2 i was a bit upset. The Wii is fun and all but the game if produced for the 360 or ps3 would have been awesome looking im sure, however with a little thought its easy to see that the Wii/ps2 combo was picked for the pure demographic of users. it would have been a bad financial decision to avoid the Wii for this game. With a core demo of Nickelodeon kids….where better to go?
- Publisher: THQ

The Dad Force Guide to The Perfect Shave
- Gillette Razor and Cream
- Gillette Cream
- Shaving Brushes
Dad Force Research: Shaving 101, The best way to clear your mug.
I, for one, am a man of thick, stubborn facial hair and after spending a ridiculous amount of money on disposable razors, vibrating razors, and razors with 25,201 blades I have decided its in my best interest (and possibly yours) to do some research on shaving like a pro.
So after researching and trying multiple techniques I have come to the conclusion that the below system works best for me. However, feel free to make use of the shaving tips and technique links at the end of this post to experiment and see what works for you!
To get the perfect shave:
Step 1. Hot Water
Warmth and hot water are an important part of a great shave. I find the best time to shave is during or right after a hot shower. When your facial hair heats up and absorbs water the muscles become relaxed and the hair becomes smoother and easier to cut resulting in a much better shaving experience. The wetter and warmer the better!
Step 2. The Cream and Applying it
Experiment with all types of cream and find out what works best for you. I find that on myself, the best option was the Gillette Tough Beard Gel available just about anywhere. How you put on your cream is up to you but I recommend a good brush, this is key. It makes sure all of your hair follicles are standing up and massaged to shaving greatness.
Step 3. Shaving
Always use a sharp blade and change it at least once a week, If you have a Chewbacca onslaught of facial hair bursting out of your face every five minutes or so like I do…razors wont last long. I use the Gillette Mach 3 Razor.
Step 5. Cleanse and Cool
I don’t use after shave or creams, I splash on only cool water. This is really a personal preference but be sure to check out the other articles below for some great after shave tips.
Note: Always clean behind your ear lobes, shaving cream lurks back there like an accident lawyer at the emergency room.
So there’s my take on shaving, now try these others!

2009 Acura NSX Photos and Video!
“When the unimpressive Acura Sports Car Concept debuted at the Detroit auto show in January, most thought it was a glimpse at the next-generation Acura NSX. Since then, Honda has been silent about its upcoming V10 supercar. Not anymore.

New 007 James Bond Movie Quantum of Solace Trailer
New James Bond flick Quantum of Solace Release set for 7 November 2008 (USA)
Trailer:
I, like many, am a huge James Bond fan and this one looks killer already. Bond girls, an Astin Martin, and explosions!? What else could you ask for?
The movie features:
| Daniel Craig | as | James Bond | |
and many more!
According to MovieWeb.com
“Quantum of Solace” continues the high octane adventures of James Bond (Daniel Craig) in “Casino Royale.”
Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and M (Judi Dench) interrogate Mr White (Jesper Christensen) who reveals the organisation which blackmailed Vesper is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined.
Forensic intelligence links an Mi6 traitor to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille (Olga Kurylenko), a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a ruthless business man and major force within the mysterious organization.
On a mission that leads him to Austria, Italy and South America, Bond discovers that Greene, conspiring to take total control of one of the world’s most important natural resources, is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano (Joaquin Cosio). Using his associates in the organisation, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, Greene promises to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country, giving the General control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land.
In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene’s sinister plan and stop his organization. “

Robot Galaxy, Build a bear… for guys.

One of the best gifts i received for Christmas this year was a gift certificate to Robot Galaxy. The concept behind Robot Galaxy is basically like a build-a-bear shop for guys (Don’t say that to them they hate it!.) I traveled through the “Ship” aka Store in Freehold NJ and constructed my robot with the arms and weapons i chose then finally went to Saturn and gave him life.

The out come? - I loved it. I can only imagine this for a child!
Robot Galaxy - Do it.

Heelys for Adults

One fine day, in the late summer last year, I was visiting my older brother and my nephew. Beings that Transformers just came out and I wanted to see it (for the fourth time) I asked my nephew if he would like to partake in the magic. We headed to the movie theater and about half way there I looked down and noticed my nephew was not walking, no… he was rolling! It turns out my nephew was wearing the latest kid craze, Heelys.

Dane Cook and his dad.

From Dane:
“i hope im like my dad in many ways except for one, something that my dad did, it warped my brain for years, changed the coarse of my life. my dad used to wear a robe, i dont know if your dads wore robes? but heres what drove me banana sandwich about this robe, ok? he had one robe ONE ROBE, not a bunch of robes ‘oh dad your wearin that one?’ oh NO, one robe. and he wore it everyday, and heres the thing in my family that we hated about the robe, first of all it came down to here, yeah, it was like a cocktail dress/robe it was so old, it wasnt even made of fabric it was made of like wheat and items he found in korea that he fashioned together, the belt was a dead snake, my dad was wearing this robe one day ill never forget this, i was just a little guy, a little chap, ill never forget, were layin on the couch together, its one saturday morning, me and my dad, he finally looked over at me and says ‘hey little guy, hey there little tiger, how you doin over there?’ and i said ‘im good dad, im good, its good to see you’ and he said ‘its good to see you there bucko, its good to see you, how you feelin this morning? you feel good? you gettin a little hungry? i said ‘yeah, im hungry, i want, i think i want something in my belly.’ he says ‘well what are you thinkin about? what are you cravin? what do you want me to get for ya?’ i say ‘uuummm… i maybe get some cereal’ and just so you guys know, i had a very ichy eye when i was younger, yes i did, we had cats and i think the dander fucked up my eye, so this was very ichy, dont be concerned it was like a hive on my lid, doesnt matter, so my dad goes ‘im gonna go uh get you some cereal’ and then just the way he went to get off the couch, the robe opened like a show was about to begin, and he wasnt wearing any underwear on this day, and i saw everything, and before this day i had never seen anything but my own set up, ya know”
